In my last position as Managing Partner of EY Advisory in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, my focus was on empowering my team to help clients solve complex issues and capitalize on opportunities to grow, optimize and protect their businesses, and helping them to operate more efficiently. The approach was to be the leading integrated transformation partner in the digital age and in my former role I acted as a member of the EY EMEIA Advisory Executive Committee and member of the Board of Management of EY in GSA.By combining forces with etventure in 2017, we did not want to simply bring together our talents, experiences and assets, but to multiply them. Together we wanted to shape the digital future in a new way, by changing the game and especially by creating value.Another essential part of the offering was our pooled strategy expertise under the brand EY-Parthenon. EY-Parthenon’s teams, in collaboration with broader EY teams, challenge assumptions and help create strategies for the clients to grow, optimize their portfolios and improve profitability.What does it take to succeed in the Transformative Age? Navigating the Transformative Age demands we ask better questions at each point in time, from strategy to execution.Joining Arthur Andersen in 1992, I have considerable experience of advising private equity houses and corporates. I also was an Investment Manager of a Private Equity Fund in the early 2000, but returned to EY to work in London and Munich. From 2010 to 2018 I was the Managing Partner for Transaction Advisory Services in GSA. I am a Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) and Tax Advisor (Steuerberater).
