• Using the FIM 2010 RC1 to start the project we created several VMware instances for the developers until the FIM 2010 was gold code. The solution I provided the infrastructure design with technology components to enable the Identity Management solution. It consisted of WSS 3.0 SP2 WFE, SQL 2008, Windows 2008, IIS 7.0, and Constrained Kerberos Auth for use with the FIM 2010 portal hosted on VMware ESX 4i with the use of VMotion for failover. The setup and configuration of a second FIM 2010 staging for the developers to upload custom code to and test it before the migration process to the production FIM 2010 implementation. The migration process consists of a export of production and staging metadata, a comparison of data integrity and then a merge of the data with an import to the production FIM implementation.
