My journey at Flushing High School was marked by a stellar 3.987 GPA and a diverse curriculum, including courses in Business Management, Engineering, and Architecture. These subjects not only broadened my knowledge but ignited my passion for these fields.My dedication to academic excellence was further acknowledged through various scholarships, including the prestigious Wilstermans Scholarship, ASHRAE Scholarship, and the Detroit News Scholarship. These awards not only recognized my academic achievements but also affirmed my commitment to my chosen areas of study.One of the defining moments of my high school career was my groundbreaking achievement in the MITES (Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society) Engineering Competition. I became the first person in Flushing High School's history to win the Grand Award, a testament to my dedication, teamwork, and innovative thinking. This accomplishment solidified my passion for engineering and inspired me to continue pursuing innovative projects.In addition to the MITES Engineering Competition, I had the honor of being the first person to win the Detroit News Scholarship for engineering in my school. This scholarship recognized my outstanding work on a complex 400+ part CAD and 3D-printed model of a steam engine, demonstrating my technical skills and commitment to engineering for positive change.After high school, I embarked on the next chapter of my academic journey by attending Kettering University, where I am currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Here, I'm continuing to nurture my passion for innovation and problem-solving, building on my experiences in education and community service. I remain committed to excellence, innovation, and community service as I prepare for a future in business management, engineering, and architecture.In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also ventured into the professional world. I am currently working at Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, where I am gaining valuable experience in the field of engineering and further enhancing my problem-solving and innovation skills.
