The claims alleged the franchisees were fraudulently induced into the franchise and the bookkeeper aided and abetted the false financial representations. The claim against the bookkeeper was the first of its kind. The claim against the franchisor required litigation directly against its insurer who originally denied coverage then eventually paid over its policy limits.November-2021-$850,000 settlement for copyright infringement claim against a for profit school who allegedly copied our clients curriculum. -In 2019 Alex litigated over $50,000,000 in claims related to investment in a ponzi scheme;-December 2017, Alex settled a securities fraud case on behalf of an elderly Florida couple for $1,845,614.68.-May 2016, Alex won a jury verdict in the Northern District of California in a commercial dispute. The jury awarded at total of $860,000 for promissory estoppel, quantum meruit, and unfair business practices. The final offer before trial was $70,000.-March 2016, Alexander settled a breach of fiduciary duty and landlord tenant dispute for $630,000 pending in Kenosha, Wisconsin.-January 2016, Alex secured a judgment for 6x the final offer plus attorney fees-January 2015, Alex secured a $1.4 million verdict for his client in a Cook County breach of contract trial.
