With over 20 years of experience in IT, I have built deep technical expertise and strategic leadership across multiple industries, including automotive, eCommerce, and news media. My career began with a major in Communications Engineering from Siemens Technology Academy, and I progressed from being a technical consultant to a consultant, and later into senior IT leadership roles.During my time as a technical consultant and consultant, I gained a wealth of knowledge in cybersecurity, virtualization technologies, and IT infrastructure across various sectors. This broad experience provided me with a strong foundation for designing and securing IT environments tailored to different business needs.In the last five years of my tenure in Germany, I was a key member of the leadership team, leading an ISO 27001-certified data center. I managed both on-site and offshore teams, ensuring alignment in vision and goals across departments while overseeing critical cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance initiatives. This leadership role was pivotal in driving operational improvements and fostering organizational growth.After relocating to Nova Scotia, I continued to build on this expertise, taking on CTO, CIO, and VP roles in several startups, where I led digital transformation efforts, cloud strategies, and advanced security solutions. I most recently served as a fractional CTO for Atlantic Canada’s largest news provider, where I was part of the leadership team, helping shape their IT strategy and infrastructure. Across my Canadian clients, I have guided digital transformations, implemented advanced security solutions, and overseen key IT initiatives that positioned organizations for future growth.In 2021, I founded Pluragon IT, where I provide fractional CTO and CIO services, focusing on cybersecurity, cloud services, and aligning IT strategies with business goals. I hold an MBA with a focus on Macroeconomics and Modern Monetary Theory, which enhances my ability to guide IT initiatives from both a technical and business perspective.
