Focus areas: Continuous Delivery, DevOps and Public Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services)1) Moving the organization towards Continuous Delivery (frequent deployments to Production), DevOps (autonomous teams with full service development, delivery and operations responsibility) and Public Cloud Computing (Amazon Web Services): Strategy, research, advising, training, implementation, continuous improvement. Providing miscellaneous in-house training, e.g. automated test pyramid, feature toggling.2) Central role in designing, implementing and improving a common model for modern cloud service development, delivery and operation across the organization. 1) General Technical QA tasks and responsibilities on an international payroll SaaS solution: Extensive continuous integration and delivery processes in TeamCity and Octopus Deploy, automated functional testing (Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid 2), automated front-end performance testing (ySlow), automated back-end performance testing (JMeter), automated security testing (OWASP ZAP), JIRA (including JIRA Agile, JIRA Capture and Zephyr), Confluence, version control/branching strategy (git, Stash), database administration (MSSQL AlwaysOn High Availability, MongoDB Replica Set). Web security testing with focus on addressing/preventing/mitigating OWASP Top 10. Very familiar with virtual machine administration using VMware vSphere and Windows server administration.
