Jewish Prayer, Words & Music - I am a published composer of liturgical and secular Jewish music, as well as a published writer of poems, articles and books, a music-liturgy leader and teacher, and cantorial soloist. My most recent publications are the two volumes of the 'Sing-A-Gogue!' series (Shir Publications) - sacred settings of liturgy for congregations, choirs and soloists. Book 1 is Songs for Shabbat, and Book 2 is Songs for Liturgy and Life. I have featured as a performer at Limmud events, conferences, Jewish communities and synagogues, and was featured performer for the Jewish-Chrisitian Bible Week in Germany.The website has examples of my writing, as well as many audio clips of my compositions. I have sung professionally for 30 years, and taught singing for most of that time across the musical spectrum. Students of mine have sung in international opera houses, been signed artists (jazz, folk, pop, punk, rock) for recording companies, and worked in London's West End. As well as teaching voice development and care, I have a special interest in working with the psychology of voice, performance and learning. My writings on voice have appeared in journals on voice, teaching and psychotherapy.
