Helped create an API tool for querying international data.- Served as key member of special taskforce that briefed Deputy Secretary of Energy on European natural gas markets during Russia-Ukraine crisis and supported U.S. policy on Russia. Created “Europe Energy Databook” used as inter-agency standard source of data during crisis. - Published report on Russian oil & gas revenues that ranked in top-10 most viewed articles on the agency’s “Today in Energy” product in 2014. Listed in “Recommended reading on Energy” by John Kemp, senior market analyst at Reuters, for report on oil and gas economics in the South China Sea.- Designed, prototyped, and received funding to build a global trade mapping and analysis system that integrates international customs and tanker tracking data with shipping routes.- Regular contributor to conferences and the media, including Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), International Petroleum Week, Wall Street Journal, and CNBC.- Completed Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) program.

Directorate of Energy Markets and Security- Project manager for IEA's Emergency Response Exercise, designed to maintain operational readiness for coordinating a collective response to major disruptions in energy supply.- Developed strategic approach for 'horizon scanning' future threats to energy security through use of innovative techniques such as geospatial analysis and network modeling.- Created disruption analysis tool that scrapes weather data from global meteorological agencies and forecasts potential impact on energy assets.
