Then I design a (usually pretty straightforward) graphic version to upload to one of my online shops, and apply the designs to t-shirts, posters, jerseys, mugs, water bottles, tote bags, sweatshirts, hats, mousepads, videorecorders, tile coasters, barbecue aprons, fridge magnets, postcards, bumper stickers, and dozens of other products.Product options include personalized food bowls for dogs, cats, or similarly sized family pets, and personalized t-shirts designed for dogs. The pet products section of one of my shops (http://www.cafepress.com/dadshomeshop/5660472) offers more than 2,100 designs, including variations on the more popular pet names, but also long shots, like, say, "Longtail." I choose visual tags for each design, and write copy for products, subsection headings, and section teasers. I also design and choose images to head sections; sometimes a copy of that section's featured design, sometimes an example of how it looks on a particular product. For each shop, I try to choose the most appropriate template, and then customize the shop appearance. As I add more designs to a shop, I regularly upgrade its organization and layout to improve user experience.I've made sales in most states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico; and Australia, Canada, Great Britain, New Zealand, Norway, and Sweden.I'm using AddThis on every page to offer shoppers a quick (and uncluttered) way to save my pages to any of almost 200 social media/social bookmarking sites.
