I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for propellant development, energetic materials, and combustion research. With hands-on experience in propellant formulation, mixing, casting, and testing, I’ve worked on innovative projects such as the characterization of novel propellant oxidizers and am developing a computational models to predict the specific impulse (ISP) of solid propellant formulations.I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where I also minored in Mathematics. My research experience includes an internship at the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, where I assisted in propellant development and cure time characterization using ProPEP and other advanced tools. Additionally, I’ve authored a comprehensive guide on safe and effective propellant formulation, which has been utilized by university teams in rocket competitions.Beyond my technical expertise, I have developed strong leadership and communication skills through my role as an Inreach Coordinator at the Science Spectrum FabLab, where I created curricula to teach engineering and digital fabrication to young students. My diverse background in both research and education has equipped me with a unique ability to tackle complex engineering challenges while fostering innovation and collaboration.I am particularly interested in opportunities related to aerospace, defense, and research, where I can continue to apply my expertise in energetics and combustion.
