Consulting companies in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries that want to implement drone programs in-house or that want to outsource parts of the workflow or the entire process. Some of the applications I focus on are construction progress monitoring, infrastructure inspections, and digitization of physical assets. Our main goal is not just to collect data in a safe, legally compliant, and efficient way but we also take pride in being experts in the data management and visualization tools and in understanding the way our clients are going to use the data. We believe that standardization, planning, and training is the key to successful and safe operations.

Directed all technological aspects of the organization to grow its capabilities on using drones in engineering applications such as in infrastructure inspections, topographic surveys, and 3D modeling (Reality Capture) leveraging on data analytics and visualization tools. The primary industries we served were Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Inspections for some Fortune 500 companies as well as local FDOT contractors, counties and cities in South Florida and the two mayor amusement park companies in Orlando (FL).Accomplishments:* Set the vision of the use of drones in our value proposition and refocused the department's strategy on using cutting edge data analytics tools to get more insights from the data collected which opened the possibilities of producing new deliverables that duplicated the company sales in less than a year.* Created flight and safety plans standards in compliance with FAA rules and best practices as part of the company's Safety Management System.* Processed thousands of acres of orthomosaic photos, maps, point clouds, 3D meshes, and estimated several tons of cut and fill volumes using DroneDeploy, Pix4Dmapper, QGIS, and Autodesk Autocad. Also organized, hosted, and analyzed more than 100K images of infrastructure inspections.* Conceptualized a product and led a team of outsourced software developers to create a program that used machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics to identify specific objects on orthomosaics, classify them per zone, count them, and generate a spreadsheet with the results.

Developed the curriculum, the marketing strategy, the student performance metrics and helped build alliances with companies in the industry for The Idea Center's Web-Development program and the School of Engineering, Technology and Design's Internet of Things (IoT) credit program. The latter was the first credit course at a college level to be ever officially offered in the US on IoT.

Lectured, graded, and advised undergraduate students in Mechanical, Materials and Production Engineering about Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM).

Led the product development team, developed the strategic planning and optimized the manufacturing processes of sheet metal products for the electric and electronic industries.Accomplishments:* Designed products adapted and optimized to the capacities of the factories. These products are produced in the tens of thousands a year and have been massively installed by customers in Venezuela and Panama. Among other metallic, plastic and electronics products designed are: electric distribution boxes in 36 different sizes, telecommunication racks, manual alarm pull stations, alarm notification strobe lights for the hearing-impaired and fire panel boxes. * Led the modification of the production plant layout for which a diagram of processes was set up and numeric simulations were performed for the determination of the optimal array of the machinery, raw material, operators, and storage.* In a 4 years period the factory productivity increased in 800%. Among other factors, this happened thanks to the optimization that I performed of the operation parameters of the robotized machinery for which were performed scientific experiments based on materials and industrial engineering strategies in order to determine the variables which would guarantee the greatest productivity at the required quality. Also, the efficiency in the use of the raw material increased 46%.* Automated procedures that were previously performed manually. To do this I designed electro­mechanical devices and in some cases, logic-programmable controllers were integrated.
