I specialize in clinical workflows and have experience developing and supporting network-wide modules, including Epic's Clinical Documentation, Case and Utilization Management, Clinical Research, Research Billing, and Bugsy Infection Control. I collaborated with the leadership team to introduce over 19 advanced cognitive computing models. By leveraging this technology, I developed Best Practice Alerts (BPAs) that enable inpatient and emergency units to effectively utilize predictive model scoring, ultimately enhancing the quality of patient care. In my role, I serve as the designated lead for Epic Security changes and manage Business Continuity Access for the Inpatient Team. Additionally, I oversee third-party integrations for supported inpatient workflows.

As a key member of the instructional team I trained part of the 6000 hospital staff for their go-live implementation of the EPIC Care Health Management System, 2012 upgrade, and the current ICD-10 implementation. Part of a new team brought in to shift all development from a two-tier structural model to an object oriented three-tier object oriented model. Applications include Client & Prospect On-line system for the Web, Leverage Finance, and Client expense management systems. Created a core services object oriented model that puts business rules and data access in a central location for use and re-use by all developers. Front end and business objects developed in VB5/VB6/Visual InterDev 6.0 with SQL Server 6.5.

Implemented a VB5 and CORBA object oriented Three-Tier Client Server solution for any new development in Chase’s worldwide workstation application. This system processes bank cash and security transactions and stores them on a Sybase database. Front end developed in VB5 with a C++ middle and database tier running on a UNIX server.

Part of a new team developing a Global Custody application to be deployed Enterprise wide. Written in Visual Basic 5.0 using object oriented Component Object Model Architecture. This application allows the reconciliation of asset transactions and positions based on the messages and statements received from agent depositories and stored in a Sybase database.

I deployed a major line of business application that centralized new business processing for regional offices worldwide. Modified system and stored procedures to run country specific logic by establishing core functionality and isolating country specific logic using VB with Oracle.

Wrote Program for Securities Processing and Reporting System to interface with mainframe and create Security, General Ledger transactions and pricing for customer accounts daily. These and other functional enhancements enabled the bank to better serve their customers and offer attractive services to potential business clients.

As project leader, I supervised five developers on a high profile project to deploy a 200+ site application to automate case management and fiscal reporting of federally funded programs. This highly publicized project has set new standards for re-engineering and data processing efforts in all other New York City departments.

I developed an invoice tracking system that was used in three of this financial institution's major account processing facilities. Using the Mac OS I developed a full-featured database system complete with reporting, security, and analysis using Fox Pro for the MAC. I also made major enhancements to their existing Citiphone Customer Service Representative Monitoring system. This multi-user application is used nationwide at all customer support facilities to monitor, rate, and report customer service representative’s performance.

I oversaw a development team of two in application design, development, and implementation of trading and back-office applications. These were multi-user systems used to centralize security trading, back-office support activity, and management reporting. These crucial systems reports and manages volume and profitability data to traders, upper management, and home office.

Wrote commercial loan specific application for rate maintenance account management reporting, and loan portfolio analysis. This loan application simplified rate maintenance and interest calculations, providing better customer support data. Improved account management and reporting provided in-depth analysis and concise profit and loss realization.

I supervised the automation of all accounting and payroll functions in the firm’s General Services area. In addition, I implemented a payroll system for 250 employees at three locations. I also managed a group of three people in automating vendor accounting and employee payroll and implemented a vendor control database to speed vendor payment and report vendor activity.
