The Lower Manhattan NYC Business Solutions Center is a program managed by the NYC Department of Small Business Services and is operated by Next StreetIn my role, I manage the Lower Manhattan Center’s Business Education program. We offer no-fee business courses oriented towards current and prospective business owners in NYC. I work with local organizations to understand the unique needs of the community and offer comprehensive support and programming to meet these needs. In addition, I help entrepreneurs overcome obstacles by understanding their needs and connecting them with resources to help them to launch, operate, and grow.

Assisted Professor Thomas Holmes on his research on oil shale markets by extracting, cleaning and preparing data for analysis.Used OCR software to extract data from secondary sources. Due to noisy pdfs, SAS coding was the primary task in this process. Wrote SAS programs to clean and accurately transcribe the OCR output into analysis ready data. Proofread and edited academic papers.

I assisted Taylor Canann with his research and paper: Toward a Theory of Vulnerability Disclosure: A Hacker’s Game. I developed assumptions for the model as well as performed mathematical analysis to prove existence of equilibria.
