City scale transport management system based on GSM data. The system was one of the first in Russia to predict arrival time of buses, intervals between them. It was based on low cost commodity hardware (simple gsm phones). The position of buses was predicted using switches of cells in the cellular network.The system helped drivers to estimate distance between buses and helped companies to increase the number of buses on the route as a consequence. It helped passengers by providing accurate information about time of arrival of buses.Also I designed and manufactured printed circuit boards, complex navigation electronic devices from scratch. The devices included ARM microcontrollers, GSM/GPS modules, colored displays, other electronics. Software part included patching real time operating system, writing hardware drivers, writing customer software, working with peripherals.
