Nidera BV, a large international agro-commodity trading and processing company, with its main office in Rotterdam. Throughout my time at Nidera I was involved and played a key role in several important corporate development projects, during a time of rapid growth and change. I travelled extensively for the company and also spent nearly a year in Chicago supporting the strategic expansion in this region.In the area of finance I worked on two major syndicated finance arrangements in 2005/6 and 2008/9, including implementing and updating the necessary reporting framework.As business analyst I worked within a small taskforce on a major strategic review and action plan for the company in 2006.Following the review I was co leader of a project responsible for developing a business model blueprint, which in turn formed a roadmap for many of the corporate change initiatives over the following years.In addition, I worked directly with the CEO on introducing a new organization model, including a new management reporting system, as well as a complete redesign of the compensation incentive model for the commercial staff and management.In parallel to these projects I held a number of positions in the risk and finance departments as credit analyst, business analyst, trade finance manager, financial planning manager and director finance North America.
