My name is Alexander Segura and I am passionate about data management and data science. I started my professional path in education, as an assistant professor in my alma matter, ITESM Puebla, but quickly moved over to the industrial sector, where I found my passion for software development and data analysis.For my first job within the industry, I was given the opportunity to lead the development of an industrial monitoring system. The development involved combining a series of technologies such as C#, SQL Server, TCP/IP based protocols for plc communication, and implemented production analytics using python. This development quickly turned into a full-scale implementation and derived in complementary products. When my first job came to an end, I decided to go forward on developing industrial data systems, so I started my own company, named Eigen Software, and at the same time started my master's in Computer Science at the INAOE Puebla. Today, I have finished my master's degree, which gave me the opportunity to get research experience on the topic of AutoML under concept drift; and I led my company to be successful. I have been in charge of developing numerous data-related projects, particularly in the automotive industry. Since my first experience, my skill set has expanded significantly. Most recently I have worked with cloud technology (specifically Azure cloud) to create real-time systems, and integrating other technologies such as Apache Kafka, Asp.Net Core, Druid, etc. On my free time, I love to continue learning, I enjoy developing new software, and learning or updating my skills using platforms such as Pluralsight. I also enjoy learning about finance and business management, which is why I am also studying an MBA using the Quantic platform.
