About Alexander De Almeida E Silva
I Spent 2001 to 2012 working in the European Fitness Industry in Lisbon Portugal. Gained experience with apparently healthy, special populations and chronic disease management. At the end of 2012 I returned to Sydney to settle. After a slightly longer than desired waiting period I obtained recognition through Exercise Science and Sport Australia (ESSA) for my Degree in Exercise Physiology obtained in Europe, currently recognised as an Accredited Exercise Scientist.My passion in life is to be happy and to live a balanced lifestyle whilst positively influencing and empowering as many people along the way to do the same. Over the years I have gained a vast experience with a variety of business models within the health and fitness industry seeking to help people make lifestyle changes. I implemented this knowledge to grow my own wellness community through in home and outdoor wellness solutions.In October 2014 I was presented with the opportunity to become a part of the Coffee industry through the Gourmet Gold Coffee family. After a provisional period of learning the ropes through the production line, today, I find myself embracing uncharted territories like a child presented with a new toy, helping to build the future of a business built on traditional and firm foundations, Together with the company directors forming a strong team which strives to maintain a sustainable balance in this transitional stage of growth as we break down barriers and create new and interesting avenues of business. I find myself implementing skill sets that I acquired in other markets and industries to the challenges that come with the responsibility of the role.
