My job involves preparing tax returns, e-filing W-2 & 1099s, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, depositing checks & cash, data entry, setting up and maintaining computer networks, transporting documents directly to clients, preparing payroll, & other various tasks.

My dad and I invested in a farm and are raising 18 head of cattle on 200 beautiful acres in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian. We plan to expand our beef operation in the future as we learn the business.

Simic International is a start-up travel agency I created with my business partner Kadeem Yorke. What makes Simic International different from other travel agency's is our focus on the social aspect of vacationing. Our niche in the market involves organizing large group vacations that target college students.

I was hired over the summer to fix up and update an outdated database system. Linkedin and other online sites were used to confirm that the information in the company database was accurate and up-to-date. I also used Linkedin and other sources to expand the database by adding new contacts and information into the system. This was my primary responsibility at RGP but not the only task I undertook during my stay with the company. I was also involved with many research and writing projects. Some of which involved things as simple as pulling up a companies 10K report and finding information requested by co-workers to more complex projects such as summarizing progress reports into an easy to read format for clients to view. My experience with RGP has been extremely beneficial to me. I learned a lot about business and gained valuable knowledge about corporate culture from it.

My last month at Sajovie Brothers Landscaping I was promoted to Foreman and given extra responsibility in the company. I had to manage a work crew of 2-4 people and made sure each specific job assigned to my team was done with quality, speed, and great customer service.

Summer job that involved operating a string trimmer, hand tossing mulch, creating restraining walls, & planting trees. This was the first position that allowed me to perform over 50+ hours of work a week.

Part-time weekend job. Primarily consists of cleaning up commercial properties in the fall & spring and mulching them in the summer. This job was my first introduction to the landscaping industry.

Part-time seasonal job in the equipment rental department. This job helped me increase my customer service skills by working with customers face to face and making sure they received the equipment they requested.
