I litigated civil and criminal cases for over 15 years before cofounding a startup because I wanted to build products, teams, and companies. I am currently the CEO and a cofounder of MuKn, the world’s leading Gerbil Scheme development shop. My legal experience made me a resilient and unflappable leader, and I have led MuKn’s fully-remote, globally distributed team to work with many of the leading blockchain technology companies and foundations around the world, including Ripple, Cardano, and Filecoin, among others. To build our own products, I led MuKn’s transition from a dev shop to a startup studio, and we have successfully launched two new ventures in the past year: Web3 Enabler, Inc., the company behind the first Salesforce App to bring crypto transactions into Salesforce; and Formalfoundry.ai, which is building mathematically provable safety rails around generative AI models using formal methods and proof assistants. I am a good judge of character and I love helping startups, negotiating, drafting contracts, closing deals, and helping teams deliver delightful tech products. I have extensive experience hiring talent around the world, and creating or helping them create the required legal structures when necessary. I also have substantial experience with startup formation, financing, due diligence, and commercial contracts including NDA’s and channel sales agreements among many others. I excel at bringing order to chaotic situations and rapidly mastering complex information.Outside of work, I am an avid traveler—I have visited 46 states, over 20 countries so far and every continent except Antarctica—and I enjoy hiking and baseball.I like meeting new people over a cup of coffee.
