Software Engineer
During my time at Gambyt, I helped develop numerous web, mobile, even backend applications for the company’s Massachusetts team. I've worked on maintaining the existing website structure we use to support the Massachusetts lottery. This includes combing through various repositories on different stacks (iOS, Android, Web) and implementing new features across the board (AWS Infrastructure/Backend Services/Frontend UI). This experience was critical because it allowed me a chance to integrate changes into a system of such grand size, which was great for honing my skills as a software engineer. I've also used my skills at Gambyt to build a Flutter application from the ground up. This application, Wheel of Luck, is accessed by thousands of users daily and has truly helped develop my skills as a game designer. All of this experience combined has helped in the process of making me a well-rounded individual. To learn more about my experience at the company, check out the project section of my profile.
Software Engineer
During my time at Dick’s Sporting Goods Corporate, I helped develop numerous web, mobile, even backend applications for the company’s Corporate Systems/Construction teams. I’ve worked on Web APIs to handle the transfer of data from frontend to our MYSQL, SQL, and MongoDB databases. These tasks were important because it allowed me to learn how APIs function, how to store and extract data appropriately, as well as how to test using Test-Driven Development in the process of it all. I also learned how to implement continuous integration using tools like Azure DevOps and Github Actions. This was a critical step in the development process because it allowed me to appropriately handle my development spaces from Dev-Prod. During my time here, I’ve also worked extensively on front-end applications using Angular and React Native. Working in these environments has not only enhanced my coding skills, but also enhanced my knowledge of correctly implementing a user friendly front end experience to my users. All of this experience combined has helped in the process of making me a well-rounded individual. To learn more about my experience at the company, check out the project section of my profile.
Building Support Assistant
As a Building Support Assistant, I perform various tasks around the library in support of the building as a whole. I coordinate with professionals to set up events throughout the library. These events, as well as other building requests, are set through an online ticketing system. I use this system to manage each task, then I physically perform them and complete the tickets afterwards. I also manage monthly and daily inspections for the building itself, updating a file system as changes arise.
Software Engineer Intern
During my time at Dick's Sporting Goods Corporate, I helped develop a system for Email resiliency. I developed APIs to handle the transfer of JSON payloads to and from Postgres/SQL databases. These tasks were important because it allowed me to learn how APIs work, transferring email data to other applications for further processing. I also learned how to setup these databases and use email management services such as RabbitMQ and SparkPost/Sendgrid API. During my time here, I also worked on an Augmented Reality app for recognizing products with the camera. This app acted as a proof of concept and allowed me to learn more about machine learning software such as TensorFlow, while demonstrating how my Game Design skills in Unity could benefit the company.

College Tech Intern
During my time at Lockheed Martin, I helped develop an advanced, customizable AR scene. I used a virtual machine to swap between Windows and Linus Ubuntu. This was important because I worked on both platforms. On the Linux side, I programmed in C++ with QT Creator. My main task here was to create a database to autoload terrain and other scene components with Open Scene Graph. I also implemented an environment settings class to take input from a tablet and modify the environment settings accordingly. On the Windows side, I worked with Unity Engine to simulate the realistic physics of a drone. I added behavior to the drone such as flocking, attacking, evading, and following. To test the behavior, I used a tablet to add objects to the scene.
