Alexander drives the development and execution of the wellbeing vision and roadmap for The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Focus areas: sustainable high performance, engagement, work pleasure, energy, vitality, prevention, health, absenteeism management, reintegration and (psychosocial) safety. Key result areas: optimizing the work environment by improving wellbeing strategy, leadership, high performance culture, vitality management, personal development and the physical work environment (including the home office).Next to the Benelux, the head of Vitality develops the global wellbeing people offer of ING. And represents HR/Wellbeing in the Global Crisis Management Team coronavirus and Future of Work programs.

Gezond Werken (Healthy Working) started in 2014 as a vitality program for insurer Zilveren Kruis and has grown into a widely supported group approach for vitality, prevention, absenteeism and reintegration, aimed at approximately 15,000 Achmea employees and flex workers. The value case is quantitatively substantiated and positive. Employees, the organization and customers experience the value of vitality and better health.Healthy Working was recognized at the end of 2017 as best practice by the international Institute for Health Management & Quality (iHMQ), with a Gold Award.Specific areas of attention: vitality and health, cultural and behavioral change, communication and activation, organization and streamlining of the working conditions organization, absenteeism and reintegration management and sustainable employability.Member of the corporate management team HR Achmea. Management/people responsibility for the Healthy Working department, the Absenteeism and Reintegration team and the in-house deployment of approx. 50 external healthcare professionals.
