Secondment to HMRC Customs Eu Exit Policy team through the Cabinet Office High Performance Industry Secondment Programme. I led on Authorised Economic Operators (AEO) policy and supported No Deal contingency planning for Brexit related to EU Exit, advising Ministers and Senior Civil Servants. Included work on legislation (primary and secondary), producing Ministerial Advice, drafting PQ responses, and working with Impacting teams to forecast HMRC resource requirements.
