My name is Alexander Wind. I like when images move in succession quickly. It reminds me of our eyeballs. Lately I’ve been drawn to work that is tactile and has the mark of a human hand. Mostly, I like stuff that feels creative and unexpected. I do other things too. Once I had a floating popsicle stand that went viral. Another time, a famous pillow salesman sent me a cease and desist. Last year, I spent 26 days floating down a giant crack in the Earth called the Grand Canyon. I like exploring nature and making sounds with guitars and other machines. I also love people and spend a lot of time getting to know them. Right now, I’m trying to make work that reflects both the little quirks and cosmic questions we all confront in our daily lives.
