I have worked under a PhD candidate in the Neufeld lab on mapping out the Unc-51-like kinase 3 pathway using genetically marked Drosophila melanogaster as a model system. Tasks included studying scientific literature, flipping fly stocks, making solution, dissections, and use of confocal microscopy. I have since started work in the Seelig lab and am being trained in protein purification and mRNA display. I have also been trained in a basic amount of X-Ray Crystallography, such as crystal tray set up for the hanging drop method, via a stint with the Wilmot Lab.

I entered bills, budgets, invoices, checks,via Quickbooks. I have also reconciled yearly accounts via Quickbooks and have worked with Xcel in creating sale sheets. Other miscellaneous duties were filing and janitorial services.
