-Aiding MVLE with their challenge statement of recruiting and retaining volunteers, whilst also educating the public/raising awareness about IDD workers and breaking down common misconceptions-Working in a team of 5 George Mason Honors College classmates to research ways MVLE can refine its recruitment process to hire more volunteers who are looking to make an impact and stay with the organization-Our team is aiming to help MVLE create a recruiting/retention process for getting and keeping volunteers and also come up with ways for MVLE to educate the public on common misconceptions with IDD workers.
