During the first lockdown in March 2020 whilst I was on furlough, I wanted to do my part for the community. Home careers were in short supply and in high demand. I had never done any kind of care work before but was up to the challenge. Lulworth Cove is a beautiful, secluded pocket of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. Working though all seasons and welcoming thousands of tourists all year round at the Cove. Working alongside the local community to offers a relaxing, gentle and accessible experience.My roll at the Visitor Centre: • Supervising multiple outlets around the site including gift shops and cafes • Dealing with staffing issues such as scheduling and conducting performance reviews • Tracking transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies • Tour the sales and working on floor regularly to identify and issues • Manage stock levels • Handling merchandise returns and exchanges • Motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
