About Alexandra Wiseman
I am passionate about making a healthy difference in the lives of everyone I meet. I enjoy supporting individuals in understanding the benefits of taking ownership of their lives through the positive pursuit of health. From a young age, I have wanted to help others; whether this was through mentoring, coaching, teaching, or lending a compassionate ear. We collaborate by holding space and sharing opportunities for each team member to thrive and showcase their passions. I have been working in the world of physical and mental health in a variety of capacities for the past decade. I have played or coached female sports since age six and continue to coach varsity softball. I love dogs, nature, being active, travelling, and music. I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor and Master of Human Kinetics in addition to a Bachelor of Education which provided me with certification to teach from grades 7 through to 12. The cherry on top was my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University which has brought my passion for mental health to the forefront of the life I continue to build for myself. I have a unique outlook on the mind-body connection and offer an approach that encompasses this relationship.I have a combination of lived experience, professional training, and heartfelt passion to help others on their healing journey. I believe that any amount of self-work, therapy included, is a great way to exercise self-care. We all deserve to be seen, heard, and valued; let's start by creating that awareness within ourselves. “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” - Marianne Williamson
