Great marketing can change the world. It has done it before and it will do it again. Working as an Account Manager and Jr. Brand Strategist at a dynamic agency has allowed me to explore a diverse range of skills and responsibilities. My role often spans from managing complex projects internally and externally to crafting and presenting comprehensive marketing strategies and implementing new internal project management software. The unpredictability of each day keeps me engaged and continually learning, a core reason why I embraced the agency world.I’m driven by a passion for delivering impactful communication and a commitment to making a positive societal contribution. I’ve successfully managed a wide array of projects, from rebranding an independent book publisher to developing identity and messaging for a new residential complex by one of Nova Scotia's top developers. My experience also includes crafting and presenting marketing strategies, conducting audience research, performing competitor analysis, and contributing to rebrands for over ten local businesses.Recently, I took on the challenge of training and process development for a new internal project management software. Creating detailed training programs and overseeing the team’s adoption of the software was as fulfilling as my client-facing work, leaving a significant positive impact on our internal operations.With all the clutter in the media and advertisements coming at us from all angles, it is important to know how to cut through the noise and reach that target demographic. This is how great marketing can change the world. Whether it is the climate crisis or promoting women through out the workforce, marketers have the microphone and simply need to find the right words, strategies, and colours, to make the change.
