- Responsible for overseeing financial document flows at the company headquarters;- Study and understand all relevant project documents relating to cost management;- Assist the Project Manager/ Commercial Manager in the preparation of the Budget and the Forecast for the Project in accordance with the agreed cost codes structures and with the support of the otherDepartments;- Verification of costs versus contracts, including the correct calculation of retention of guarantees, advance payment, prepayment reimbursement, deductions;- Verification of accounting costs: Monthly verification to confirm that all costs have been assigned the appropriate cost codes, Verification of accounting positions in turn, Verification of accrual accounting, Comparison of supposed accounting costs (in estimation), Explanation of differences, Production verification in execution versus paid amounts;- Comparing budget amounts with real spending and reporting;- Assists leadership in strengthening the annual operating budget;- Monitoring the financial progress of the project;- Verifying the accounting (based on invoices) for all costs accrued in previous periods;- Estimation: Final estimate figures, including real cost verification in the internal accounting program, purchase costs, adding future costs, completing the estimate;- Preparation of all financial documents for the bidding process;- Submit and co-ordinate the special reports requested by the management;- Guarantees and insurance: verification of guarantees and insurance issued by subcontractors on the basis of the contract;
