As a legal assistant, I offer in-person and over-the-phone consulting on traffic cases and transcribe detailed notes on criminal cases. Daily activities consist of pulling and organizing clients' files for their court dates, giving timely updates and correspondence to current clients, and briefing the attorneys with individual client profiles whilst working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office. Furthermore, I set up payment plans for clients, schedule meetings for the attorneys, and act as a sales associate, promoting the firm’s qualifications in representing clients’ cases.

Worked cooperatively with other field fellows on canvassing and phone banking to reach our weekly goals of outreach. Furthermore, I learned how to speak to prospective voters and concisely and eloquently convey our candidate’s policy ideas. I was able to gain experience with political fundraising by contacting local companies and reaching out to individuals to donate to Reives’ campaign. I also assisted with data collection and analysis as I worked to synthesize the results of my outreach efforts concisely.
