Alexandra advises on a broad range of Bermuda corporate and regulatory law, specializing in corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), finance and securities. In her corporate practice, Alexandra has advised on both domestic and cross-border mergers and amalgamations, corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues, segregated account company structures, and equity investment. She provides legal advice to a wide array of industries including, agriculture, automotive and transportation, healthcare and pharmaceutical, energy and natural resources, fintech, insurance and insurtech.Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda, Alexandra was a corporate attorney at another commercial law firm in Bermuda. Prior to her arrival in Bermuda in 2017, she practiced law in Calgary at Miller Thomson LLP, a Canadian-wide national law firm. Alexandra was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2014 and was called to the Bermuda Bar in March 2020. She obtained her Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada and her Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall at York University in Toronto, Canada.
