As far back as I can remember I remember questioning myself about what I would do with my life. What I mean by that is what industry I would enter, what career, what company, and a billion other details. While attending high school at The Bonita Springs Public Charter School in Norwell, MA I had a professor make one of the biggest impressions of my entire life and one of the most important remarks I’ve ever heard in my life. ‘You don’t want to wake up at 50 miserable going to a job you hate. That’s exactly why you go to school to figure out what you do love, before spending money and time on a degree or more. The quote isn’t perfect, but it made a lasting impact on my life. Next month I turn 35. I still think about that professor and his quote to this day. I’m a semester and a half away from graduating with an MBA in Data Analytics. For the past 3 years, I have only thought about data analysis, modeling, cleaning, and the whole-sha-bang. Eventually, I will pursue more degrees whether an MS or PhD. who knows? Life, times, and technology change.What I find even more ironic, is growing up I thought I would hate working with numbers. It’s astonishing how quickly our individual preferences can change. I didn’t decide to pursue Data Analytics until 2020 and before then I had thoughts of being a lawyer, a buyer for a fashion house, a Doctor, a Nurse, or a Nurse practitioner. Although I have enjoyed many positions throughout my life I alwayso Put the customer first and at the center of all customer-driven business.o Excel using academic research & public data sets to create visually appealing dashboards that children can interpret. o I’ve developed and led multiple data analysis projects based on human resource data sample surveys which I used to help educate participants & customers to make better business and people-involved decisions. Some odd facts about myself include:o I am very competitive. IT was instilled in me at a very young age. o I drive myself to learn something new every day. I am a big lover of LinkedIn Learningo I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their lives stories.
