ETT is a joint venture between subsidiaries of American Electric Power (NYSE:AEP) and Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company (BHE). ETT acquires, constructs, owns and operates transmission facilities within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

Volunteers provide paraprofessional support to advocates working at Monday and Wednesday evening Legal Clinics. Support includes signing in applicants, assisting applicants as they complete necessary paperwork, and interviewing applicants about civil legal problems.

Draft, review and negotiate significant portfolio of consulting, services and construction contracts and subcontracts for global provider of environmental, risk management services and health and safety solutions. Advise executive management and internal clients on regulatory compliance issues and potential legal risks to the organization.

Served as primary legal counsel for all areas of contract drafting and negotiation for corporate headquarters of international real estate brokerage company. Types of contracts worked included licensing, IT, internet, franchise and events matters. Formulated and implemented uniform processes and procedures which expedited and increased the overall efficiency of the contract review and execution process.

In conjunction with legal department’s rotation system, served as sole world-wide legal counsel for the procurement, real estate, banking, MIS and IT, labor and employment and trademark practice areas. Served as sole legal counsel for the drafting and review of all confidentiality agreements, marketing materials, and technical documentation. Other responsibilities included:● Drafted and negotiated employee releases, various intellectual property and software licensing agreements, value added reseller agreements, independent contractor agreements, and other technology-based products and services contracts and licenses. ● Served as project lead in proactively revising and renegotiating all major supplier contracts to increase savings and maximize the company’s leverage.● Developed and implemented infrastructures, including standardized contract forms and processes and procedures, to expedite and reduce the costs associated with the contract execution process.● Resolved preference claims filed against company in customer bankruptcies. ● Developed and conducted training for corporate departments on a variety of business issues, including nondisclosure agreements. ● Conducted the formation of new foreign subsidiaries of the company. ● Managed outside counsel and recruited and mentored new hires.
