LSCTV¹s Emmy© award winning news organization provides live newscasts of local and regional news and weather via cable to over 10,000 subscribers in rural northeastern Vermont and northern New Hampshire. The News 7 operation is driven entirely by Lyndon¹s Broadcast Journalism majors with limited oversight by Communications faculty. The station is a CNN award school affiliate, subscribes to the Associated Press news service and students utilize Avid iNews, Avid NewsCutter and the Panasonic P2, and AVCHD formats to produce each newscast.-Technically direct weekly News7/NewsLINC broadcasts-Create stocks, lottery, community calendar, and FSG graphics for broadcast-Produce hyper-local stories ranging from copy to package format for broadcast and web-Produce weekly pet segment for broadcast, web, and social media-Perform as sole anchor for broadcasts-Assist in production of broadcast, including creating the rundown and mananging reporters

I oversaw all published content to The Critic's website and social media. This includes copy and photo editing, and creating strategic communications strategies to garner engagement online. I oversaw a staff of approximately 20 writers, photographers, and artists to produce regular content. I was also in charge of event-planning and organizing training sessions, on top of producing my own content.

I assisted the Editor-in-Chief assigned stories to staff writers, reviewing submitted content, and publishing content on our website and social media pages. I also regularly produced my own articles and photography.

Wrote news stories for broadcast; worked with the digital marketing team to manage websites and social media accounts; edited broadcasted shows into portable podcasts; and produced visual content for various marketing projects.
