Tasked with the rehousing of the National Costume Collection’s eighteenth century men’s suits and women’s footwear, including a National Treasure. Project included the building of custom, soft mounts using skills such as patterning, machine sewing, and hand sewing to manipulate muslin, stockinette, and poly batting. Additional projects and responsibilities included: exhibition maintenance, cataloguing twentieth century fashion plates, and general collections care.

Research the history of Middlebury observatories from 1800, working with institutions such as Middlebury College Special Collections and the Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History. Charged with the creation and curation of an exhibition of research findings to be installed in the Mittelman Observatory in Spring 2019.

Worked to conserve objects from the standing collection and upcoming exhibitions. Rehoused flat and three-dimensional textiles including 1960s Balenciaga, political campaign ribbons, and 19th century bicycle belt. Mounted costumes for exhibition, including 2018 Special Olympics and 2019 Superheroes. Applied skills include: textile rehousing, mannequin carving from Ethafoam, limb building, moldable hand building, mold treatment, and flat textile mounting.
