I am a Bachelors of Science student, majoring in Microbiology at the University of Guelph. My program allows me to develop my interests in scientific research by exposing me to hands-on laboratory work and proper scientific writing techniques. During my fourth year, I worked in the Dr. Chris Whitfield lab, which has given me a year of experience working in a laboratory setting. In addition to my undergraduate education, my past volunteering and employment have advanced my adaptability, critical thinking and customer service skills. I continue to use the knowledge gained from my professional experiences and schooling to present myself as a great future employee in the growing field of microbiology.
