Ski InstructorMount Snow Oct 2014 - Apr 2017Burlington, Vermont AreaHaving learned to ski before I can remember, it has brought me many challenges, much growth, and abundant joy. Practically raised on the mountain, skiing provided a shared bond with my father and fostered my love of the outdoors. Recognizing the value that skiing had brought to my life and reflecting on some of my fondest memories, it was inherent to want to inspire new skiers; to not only love skiing but enjoy the beauty of Mount Snow. As an instructor, teaching beginner skiers ages four to six, I provided instruction on foundational skills, safety, and proper ski etiquette. Working with groups of five to eight children simultaneously, I mastered the skills necessary to navigate the challenging moments that come with instructing children. ☑ Contributed to the development of more effective teaching methods and techniques☑ Participated in on-going safety and educational training ☑ Fostered an environment that drove high satisfaction and return visits -
