As part of my internship program, I interned at Springdale High School. My duties included planning and teaching educational units in various media for Art I, Drawing I, and Drawing II classes for grades 10-12. I also assisted with instruction for an IB Visual Arts course.

I volunteered in the wood and metal shops as a monitor. It is my responsibility to ensure that only students trained on the tools use the shop. I am available to correct any unsafe behavior, take the appropriate steps if an injury occurs, and answer any questions.

As a college ambassador I advocate the arts and museum programs on the college campus. I also help plan events to expose college students to the arts and various programs and resources the museum offers. It has been an amazing opportunity to learn about how the museum operates and how to plan community outreach events.
