Avon is the company for women and about women. Its commitment is to make the world a more beautiful place not only through its products or people, but by fighting also with two of the major problems women have worldwide: Breast Cancer (first cause of death for Romanian Women) and Domestic Violence (authorities estimate that at every 30 seconds a Romanian woman is victim of an abuse). Since 2015 I coordinate Avon Breast Cancer Crusade and Avon's Speak Out Against Domestic Violence initiatives in Romania. 1. Project management for Campania pentru Sanatatea Sanilor, Campania Respectului and www.doneazacuavon.ro (Crowdfunding platform): develop &implement long-term strategy, managing budget.2. Strategic partnerships with NGOs: Early detection of Breast Cancer-Screening programs, Medical Equipment donations, Support for Breast Cancer victims, Educational programs for youngsters in order to become non-violent adults, Rehabilitation of Domestic Violence Shelters, Scholarships for journalists on domestic violence phenomena.3. Communication initiatives for social causes: 360 awareness campaigns (#CancelCancer Campaign), Social Media (StopCancerlaSan & CampaniaRespectului), Press conferences, educational press materials.4. Cause Marketing & Fundraising: Managing CSR product portfolio, Brochure&Sales Materials, managing Fundraising events (concerts, local events).5. Stakeholder engagement: employees, sales team(potential donors), local authorities, medical centers.6.Event Management: Awareness for the cause (12 Pink Walks in Romanian cities), Corporate Conference (CSR4WOMEN), local events.

During the few months spent in L'Oreal Romania I have better understood the structure and the workflow of a corporation. Specifically, I have been part of the Professional Hair Products Division (brands as L'Oreal Proffesionnel, Matrix and Kerastase) where I have interacted with particularities that this niche has, I have helped in writing commercial analysis and I have conducted few of the branding materials (newsletters, product brochures).

Student of the Year was the project that helped me find and manage large budgets, challenged me to coordinate a volunteer team, to manage relations with the sponsors and an opportunity to implement the information learned in school (from communication campaign, to project management and event implementation).Studentul Anului is one of Volunteers for Ideas and Projects NGO and is: A title given to the student who has reached the highest level of performance and excellence; A challenge addressed to the best students in the following fields: architecture, economy, journalism, medicine and IT; A competition judged by representative personalities of the romanian society, who guarantee the exceptional assets of the winners of each domains; A recognition of the aptitudes and succes of the elite of the romanian collegiate life during the Award Ceremony of "Student of the Year".

Volunteers for Ideas and Projects is an organization composed 100% of students enrolled in the Academy of Economic Studies, the University of Bucharest, the National School of Political and Administrative Studies, Spiru Haret University and the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Every year, VIP organizes over 10 programs and projects for personal and professional development dedicated to university and master students. VIP Romania benefits from the support of companies, mass-media and Romanian officials.
