I’ve worked at every level of the education system—from the classroom to the state level—and with all age groups, from birth to college, across more than 20 cities and states nationwide. My work is marked by a commitment to fostering equity and driving strategic initiatives that enhance student outcomes. I have a data and analytics background, as well as extensive experience engaging with district superintendents and state agency leaders, allowing me to contribute insights that align with and drive organizational goals.At the Virginia Department of Education, I lead transformative policies and practices that support early childhood care and education, ensuring equitable access to early learning opportunities. I specialize in policy innovation, program implementation, and team success, with expertise in child care subsidy administration, federal reporting, and coordinated enrollment activities.During my tenure with TNTP, I collaborated with K-12 school leaders, educators, and families to advance educational equity and implement high-quality instructional materials. As a Director, I designed and managed training programs that strengthened educator preparedness, ensuring students received grade-appropriate instruction. I worked closely with high-level leaders, including district superintendents and state agency officials, to achieve their instructional vision.
