Alexandra Pace is a Malta-based multidisciplinary creative. She is one of Malta's foremost photographers with extensive experience in the contemporary art field. She is the founder of Malta's longest-running independent contemporary art space, Blitz Valletta and is a qualified digital marketing consultant. She holds a graduate degree from Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London and has lectured at the Department of Digital Arts at the University of Malta where she has taught photography, as well as multidisciplinary studio practice.In 2013 she founded the independent project space Blitz, which has been pivotal in the development of Malta’s contemporary art scene. In developing a sustainable independent art space, Blitz programmes seek to engage new audiences in contemporary arts; investigate how access to high-quality exhibitions can be improved; and serve as the impetus to expand the local contemporary cultural infrastructure.Alexandra’s skillset and creative interests are vast, ranging from analogue photography and darkroom printing to data-driven digital marketing and digital design. With an insatiable appetite for development and discovery, Alexandra’s work has been seen in print, online, on walls and outdoors. Her studio is a full service multidisciplinary creative studio that provides photography, print and digital solutions, creative strategy and digital marketing services. Throughout the years, the studio has built powerful brand identities, print media, web development, digital marketing strategies and meaningful content. Besides the creative industries, Alexandra has a history and keen interest in sport and fitness; she currently leads the team at UN1T Malta, the foremost local strength and conditioning fitness studio that forms part of the worldwide UN1T franchise.
