Founder and Director at BLITZ, Valletta – an independently run space hosting arts and culture events, such as exhibitions, film nights, public talks and workshops. Headed the team, ran internships programmes, organised workshops and events. Curated, organised and branded a number of successful exhibitions, both solo and group shows, initiated BLITZ funded projects, liaising with publishers and press and has collaborated with numerous organisations – educational, commercial and art institutions. As founder and director of Blitz, Alexandra has led numerous projects in collaboration with both local and international institutions, such as the Royal College of Arts (London) and Central Saint Martins University of the Arts (London). In 2015 she initiated the Blitz Residency Programme which has invited multidisciplinary artists from Berlin, London, Wroclaw, Athens, Kuwait, Paris and Istanbul. Blitz has also co-produced a large scale project, Transformer, in collaboration with Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London that built relationships between a Maltese artistic context and an international cultural network of artist-run organisations (AROs) through a series of border-crossing curatorial and artistic exchanges. Transformer focuses on the dynamic generated by AROs and their engagement with contingencies of the present, engendering artistic discourse with partners from Athens, Barcelona, Morocco and London.– www.blitzvalletta.com

Alexandra Pace Studio is a full service multidisciplinary creative studio. Since its founding in 1999, the studio provides photography, print and digital solutions, creative strategy and digital marketing services. The studio has collaborated with various organisations, with whom we have built powerful brand identities, print media, web development, digital marketing strategies and meaningful content.

Malta

Joined UN1T Malta at the start-up phase of establishing the fitness franchise in Malta. The initial role was to develop and implement UN1T Malta's marketing strategy as a level-up fitness facility newly launched in Malta as part of the UN1T worldwide fitness franchise. Providing a full-service partnership with the studio that includes lead generation, search engine marketing, social media marketing, content creation and establishing meaningful partnerships. Nine months into the role, I was promoted to the role of General Manager of the operation.

Visiting Lecturer on BFA Digital Arts Programme, teaching modules that provide a spectrum of themes, motivations, issues and modes of expression that currently exist in the field of contemporary art photography.

Photography Lecturer to photography, media and fine art students, as well as assisted in setting up the HND Photography course at Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST).

Photographed and art directed over 70 covers and fashion stories for Pink Magazine, published by Mediamaker and distributed by Times of Malta.

Employed as a photographer and graphic designer working on various advertising campaigns and marketing material. Clients included Malta Tourism Authority, Gillette, Maltanet and Delicata Winery, amongst others.
