At B Seated my primary role was as a Design and Sales Consultant to our interior design and hospitality clients. This involved building relationships with clients and working closely with them on new projects. My responsibilities involved working closely on a project from the beginning by creating schedules of existing furniture or creating concept sketches that fitted within the client’s budget and timeframe. I then would work on finishes and samples, right through to collaborating with the manufacturers on CAD drawings, visiting the factory to perfect the designs and finally shipment of the final order. My role included regular solo travel internationally and within Australia to oversee installations, manufacturing and source new products for the B Seated range. I was also involved in the upkeep of the website as well as the homewares and residential branches of the company.
