• Global Communications Strategy for the Chagas Disease & Leprosy Global Health Flagships: Created and drove the global internal, external communications and advocacy strategy for Global Health Flagship areas across the globe including aligning activities across key stakeholder groups, aiding to establish our flagships and Novartis as a trusted partner. Led and implemented important global milestones and campaigns, including strategic planning, content and asset creation (including management of agency support), issues management and impact measurement across digital, social media and internal channels on a global, regional and local level. Represented flagships with key internal and external partners, e.g. the Global Chagas Coalition, World Heart Federation, Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy. • Digital and Social Media Strategy and Engagement: Led the Novartis Global Health digital, social media and internal channels (incl. executive channels) strategy creation and management of multi-stakeholder campaigns, news flow, content production, paid promotion, engagement, measurement and evaluation. Advanced global employee advocacy strategies in close collaboration with Novartis global teams, key internal and external stakeholders.• Employee Engagement, Change Management & Internal Communications: Led employee engagement and internal communications activities and channels (Yammer, intranet, SharePoint) for Global Health at Novartis. Supported the leadership team on internal culture and change management efforts, strategic and tactical counselling. Represented the Communications team within key internal networks and government bodies. Collaboration and alignment with key internal stakeholders across communications networks, divisions and the business to leverage content, campaigns and collaboration.

• Launch Preparation and Excellence: Set up and run the market access research study to determine the need and potential demand, uptake and adoption barriers at global and national level and interventions to overcome these for a new antimalarial formulation designed for neonates. Based on the research outcomes and internal workshops, supported the global access plan and strategy development in close collaboration with the regional teams and relevant stakeholders. Identified opportunities and suggested actions for cross-organizational collaboration and learning to optimize launch excellence within Global Health team.• Strengthening the Coartem Brand: Assessed the opportunity to expand the brand presence to new countries/region in collaboration with country representatives. Conducted workshops with regional teams to assess market needs, required global support regarding marketing material update and development.

• 2021: OYW Mentorship program OYWConnects: Mentor and coach a Kenyan social entrepreneur and CEO of a Youth NCD Education enterprise (Stowelink Inc).• 2018-2021: Strategic Counselling and Thought Leadership: Responsible for creating and implementing the Novartis-led initiative on "Expanding access to medicines and healthcare in your community" together with the Novartis Group Head of GH&CR at the OYW summit 2019. Worked with the Global Novartis Leadership Development team on a global “next-generation leaders” strategy and supported Novartis advocacy work around the program. In charge of the co-development of the 2021 Novartis hosted OYW caucus and ideation program, led its global communication and internal stakeholder engagement, hosted and moderated the event and worked with the OYW global team to increase visibility around it.• 2018 & 2019: Novartis Delegation Representative: Represented Novartis as part of its Top Young Global Leaders delegation at the annual One Young World (OYW) summit).

• Digital and Social Media Strategy and Engagement: Responsibility for creating, aligning and executing the NSB digital and social media strategy. Launched new channels (LinkedIn and Twitter) to support NSB communications objectives. Collaborated with the NSB leadership team, global and regional teams, external partners and Novartis global and divisional functions to best advantage NSB content.• Employee Engagement: Supported the development and implementation of an internal, key stakeholder strategy and provided adequate resources and communications tools. Managed the skills-based employee-volunteering program. Collaborated with the GH&CR team to evaluate and refine the program and with Global Talent Management & HR teams to expand the program globally to leverage opportunities internally and externally.• Partner and Stakeholder Engagement: Supported the management, strategy and implementation of the NSB global and regional stakeholder dialogue events aiming to engage and enhance transparency with health and development communities across the world (key focus on Switzerland/Europe, Asia and Africa).

• Employee Engagement Strategy: Responsible for developing and implementing a skills-based employee engagement program from concept to implementation in close collaboration with HR and GH&CR, including an intranet platform, guidance tools, recruitment, measurement and evaluation processes. In charge of running the program, driving the development of an internal and external communications plan, engaging and aligning with key internal stakeholders and producing promotional material (social media content, videos, stories etc.).• Key Stakeholder Engagement: Helped organize and promote the annual stakeholder dialogue event. Supported leveraging NSB content internally and externally.

• Internal Communications: Responsible for preparing content for internal stories and news, company presentations, internal communications material, employee and leadership newsletter and in charge of the country hotline.• Operational Support: Responsible for day-to-day management, led the re-design of the German Pharma intranet, organized a wide range of internal events e.g. town halls, Novartis Community Partnership Day Germany.
