As a Psychology student at Loyola University Chicago, I am passionate about helping young people succeed through education, mentorship, and emotional support. With a 3.8 GPA and over four years of experience in child care and youth programming, I have developed strong analytical thinking, empathy, and leadership skills that drive impactful results.In my current internship with Alternatives in Chicago, I work directly with students at an underserved public high school, providing guidance and support to help students navigate challenges and thrive both academically and personally. My responsibilities include creating and implementing lesson plans, mentoring students, training school staff, and contributing to trauma-informed programming.I also have extensive experience as a resource teacher at Goddard Schools and the YMCA, where I developed my skills in creating and facilitating engaging educational programs, crisis management, and problem solving.I am a dedicated communicator and leader, committed to making a difference in the lives of children and youth, and I strive to create environments where everyone feels valued and capable of success.
