As an editor and early warning analyst at Genocide Watch, I wrote briefings on evidence of possible genocides, war crimes, and crimes against humanity occurring in Latin America. Government officials and nonprofit organizations used this research to craft policy recommendations. I also co-produced a podcast titled Conversations on Genocide featuring war.

As the organization's journalism intern, I spearheaded a series of profiles on survivors of human trafficking. This involved interviewing, writing, organizing photography, and establishing a publication plan. Research during this time helped create a longer feature that I published in Vox Magazine.
