Interior planner and designer educated at Louisiana State University, School of Environmental Design, Department of Architecture, Alexandra graduated in 1975 and has since gained forty-one years of experience in the design of healthcare facilities, banking facilities, retail spaces, libraries, restaurants, corporate offices and personal residences. The structure of this experience has been as the "Interiors" member of the Architectural Design Team, establishing a depth of understanding in both basic and specific concerns. The value of her experience has been the highly developed ability to integrate architecture, interior architecture, and interior design.After thirteen years of experience with architectural firms offering full design services, she created the firm of ALEXANDRA R. SINGLETON DESIGN in 1988. The focus of work still remains commercial and residential interiors, while the delivery of work is now as Interior Consultant to the Owner or contracted Architect.
