Adult Clinical Rotations; Private Practice Setting; Adult Clients (ages 35-75); In-Person Therapy & Telepractice- Conducted individual and group speech-language therapy and conducted diagnostic assessments for adults in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic environment. Specific populations treated and assessed included Broca’s aphasia, fluent aphasia, anomic aphasia, primary progressive aphasia, cognitive impairment, TBI, and apraxia of speech- Facilitated aphasia group treatment, via teletherapy, as part of a 6-person team within the NU Aphasia Center which led to increased social interaction and improved communication skills by implementing the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA)- Encourage the use of AAC programs such as Lingraphica and Tobii Dynavox by modeling and providing opportunities for use resulting in increased communication attempts- Created unique materials to bolster the client's success, including materials for articulation drills, reading comprehension activities, sequencing, short/long term memory tasks, personalized naming drills, and other toolsPediatric Clinical Rotations; Private Practice Setting; Pediatric Client (age 10); Telepratice - Delivered speech-language therapy for one child on a biweekly schedule, diagnosed with social pragmatic language disorder and expressive/receptive language disorder- Created individualized language and social pragmatic goals to target turn taking, initiating conversations, and asking complex questions to increase the client’s social pragmatic skills during conversation- Observed student progression in his ability to interact effectively which led to improved success in learning to adapt therapy materials to increase complexity and decrease/increase cueing in the moment

SLP Graduate Student Intern; Day Camp Setting; Pediatric Clients (ages 6-13); In-Person Therapy - Administered weekly speech-language therapy for one pediatric camper and developed daily/weekly progress notes to be sent home with the family- Developed and executed therapy materials and daily therapeutic camp curriculum for a group of campers- Supported campers during moments of dysregulation and utilized strategies to regain regulation such as movement breaks, sensory bins, deeps breaths and other strategies
