- The main purpose of the work is to support countries in the implementation of the National TB Strategic Plans by building local capacity on programmatic management of drug-resistant tuberculosis (PMDT) and assist alignment of the national protocol to the WHO recommendations. Assess the progress of the implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP), including its DR-TB component and develop recommendations for future activities. Identify the need for technical assistance and recommended actions with any aspect of the programmatic management of drug-resistant TB in order to fulfil the national TB strategic plan. Participate at the External Review of the National TB Control Program (NTP review) and provide input.

- In collaboration with Vladimir Regional TB Control Center:- Developing project protocol, supporting documents and forms Providing professional support services on the Project related to obtaining Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval with local authorities in Russia;- Developing Project monitoring, evaluation manual, and enrollment plan.- Developing and managing Project activities such as: active TB case finding; More effective use of existing prevention and control methods, especially in high-risk populations; Prevention of progression from latent TB infection to TB disease taking in account drug susceptibility of an Index case; Integration patient centered approaches into clinical and organizational healthcare practices.- Supporting timely and successful projects delivery; - Tracking and implementing projects indicators;- Participating in Project data base development;- Participating in clinical committees on tuberculosis clinical management. - Developing of projects training materials, budgeting;- Writing interim and end-program reports;

- Organizing and conducting educational and training-methodical work on all types of training sessions in accordance with the Individual Work Plan of the teacher.- Participating in the research work of the department.- Participating in the development of methodological manuals, laboratory works, practical classes, seminars.

- Supporting timely and successful projects delivery;- Developing and managing patient-oriented programs at the Tomsk TB-services and AIDS-Center that includes also improvement of the collaboration between different governmental departments and non-profit organizations in case management of the underprivileged groups of peoples; http://pih.ru/pihsvet_n1.html- Organizing fellowships, workshops and training seminars on medical management of TB/HIV co – infection for medical staff of TB services and AIDS-center with international speakers participation: scheduling, arranging learning spaces and coordinating course delivery; http://pih.ru/pihtomsk_n5.html- Providing administrative support to training participants and guest lecturers;- Overseeing the work of the project teams (more than 15 specialists); Developing of projects training materials, budgeting;- Writing interim and end-program reports; - Tracking and implementing projects indicators; - Networking and assisting the public organizations and NGOs involved in tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS control in the frame of the Global Fund Program;- Participating in clinical committees on tuberculosis clinical management;- Working with National, WHO and CDC - guidelines and clinical protocol on TB and DR-TB;- Consulting and supervising other patient-centered programs implemented in other regions of Russia, including Voronezh and Petrozavodsk.

- developing and managing patient-oriented approaches treating tuberculosis in the city of Tomsk (the system of activities designed to work with patients who have been lost to TB and MDR-TB treatment follow up); - organizing and coordinating programs on "Reduction of alcohol problems in TB patients" (psychologist’s and substance abuse specialist counseling for patients with alcohol and/or drug dependence) and on "TB Control among people living with HIV/AIDS in Tomsk Region” (tuberculosis screening and detection among PLWHA, injecting drug users, migrants, commercial sex workers and homeless, as well as chemoprophylaxis of latent TB among PLWHA);- participating in clinical committees on tuberculosis clinical management;- organizing and participating in workshops and trainings for groups of nurses and doctors in clinical and programmatic management of TB and TB/HIV;- participating in an operational research study within the program “TB Control among people living with HIV/AIDS in Tomsk Region”.

- Managing staff of 20 persons, leading therapeutic and preventive work and diagnostic process, interacting with internal and external departments.- Preparing annual reports and general department process planning- Providing work direction to subordinate administrative personnel (doctors and nurses) - Managing clinical work including organizing and participating in medical committees to review difficult cases; making a final decision on emergency cases management; monitoring service quality in the department; applying for subsidized medications and their subsequent distributing; directing work with groups of dispensary patients and people with disabilities, assisting in social support
