Serves as a lead on women's entrepreneurship across iDE programs - emphasis on postharvest technology business models and innovative financing in smallholder markets.

Strategic direction, partnerships as well as executive oversight of programs, resource mobilization, USAID and Foundation grant procurement. Lead engagement with the Board. Designed and developed numerous projects with various stakeholders on postharvest innovation and food technology adoption for smallholders, primarily in Malawi, Senegal, and Kenya. Responsible for successful rebrand, overhaul of organizational strategy and 4-fold increase in revenue over multiple years.

McKnight Foundation - (12/2012-8/2013) Gender assessment of their collaborative crop research program (CCRP), which funds research between smallholder farmers, leading local researchers, and development practitioners to explore solutions for agroecological intensification throughout Africa and in the Andes region.Compatible Technology International (2/2012-2/2013) - Partnerships and business development among international experts and funding institutions. www.compatibletechnology.org.Heinrich Boell Foundation (2011-2012) Writer and lead coordinator for a series of articles and co-organized a symposium on Rio+20 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). World Rural Forum (8/2011-10/2011) - Gender and food security lead for World Conference on Family Farming.

Oversight and writing contributions on gender and food security being written for policymakers, academics and institutions engaged in these issues. I served as global liaison and advocate for the program.

Led a global network of ministers and leaders in food and agriculture to strengthen gender in national, regional and multilateral investment policies programs . Coordinated high-level policy dialogues at the UN Office in Geneva, the European Rural Development Forum, and at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome. Completion of a database of women leaders and gender-focused projects in agriculture and rural development. Grant management and reporting.

Directed the international policy team comprised of 8 staff persons (located in Minneapolis,USA, Geneva, Switzerland, and Vienna, Austria). Extensive travel to Europe, Africa and Latin America.Key issues addressed: food governance and macroeconomic policy reform: trade investment, IP, land and water utilization, human rights.Managed the program budget and led fundraising.

Based out of Washington, D.C. Led the global secretariat for 7 regional chapters around the world engaged in research, advocacy and popular education to understand and promote sustainable economic policy and development from a gender justice lens . Coordinated the Network's efforts to monitor and assess regional and global trade and investment and spearheaded policy dialogues in support of human rights and sustainable development. Managed administration, communication and fundraising.Leadership and participation in numerous policy dialogues and coordinated research throughout the U.S., Africa, Europe, Asia, the Pacific and Latin America.

Monitored and reported on the status of regional and global trade policy on agriculture, services, investment and intellectual policy. Led advocacy with members of Congress and the U.S. Trade Representative. Represented the organization in a series of multi-sectoral dialogues on macroeconomic policy, human rights and sustainable development at the United Nations, the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Europe, Africa and Asia.
