Alexandra’s main focus at JBDev is providing excellent customer support - helping clients to configure our system to provide maximum time-savings for employees and their managers. While swiftly solving any issues our clients may run into, she also manages to employ her gifts for technical writing (help files, release notes, testing documentation, and more), software QA and testing, internal documentation and support, and assisting with new server setup. Alex is always willing to lend a capable hand wherever else she can provide assistance. Interacting with people and leaving them happier than she found them is professionally and personally satisfying for Alex. “If I can provide fast, quality, and cheerfully done work, where the client is happy, then I’m happy. I love that feeling. I also love being thorough and organized, and the technical writing aspect of my job allows that.”Alex credits her history of international work, school, volunteer and travel experience as preparation for success in her professional career. She had the opportunity to work in Bangkok, Thailand for close to a year. Being that living and working internationally is a whole new, exciting, and inherently challenging experience, Alex gained a new perspective on life, as well as found herself becoming more sensitive to other cultures and practices. She feels the experience has built her patience, confidence, communication, teamwork, teaching, networking, organization and planning skillset - and it shows. She is cheerful, confident and calm, which allows her to communicate efficiently with clients. She enjoys working in groups and is able to help bring people together to achieve a common goal.Alex's positive outlook on life, love, family and friends affords her to find balance between her professional career and her personal life. She truly believes that we learn and grow from our negative experiences, just as much as our positive experiences and is grateful for all that life has given her.
